Joseph Stone, CLU, ChFC
Principal

Joe Stone has more than 38 years experience delivering financial services to businesses and individuals. Prior to forming Stone Financial Group and partnering with his son Jamie, who runs the Denver office, Joe started Partners Financial-MA in 1989. He was a general agent with Berkshire Life for more than 20 years and a district manager with Equitable Life for over ten years.

Joe uses a comprehensive approach when working with his clients. He carefully evaluates each client’s unique needs and recommends the appropriate solution for the client’s financial goals.

He is graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, IL and is an avid cyclist, hot power yoga enthusiast, and seasoned traveler. He also enjoys annual family adventure trips with his wife Susan and sons Ethan and Jamie. Joe currently serves on the executive board of Jewish National Fund New England and on the New England board of the American Liver Foundation.

Jamie Asher Stone, CLU

Jamie had the benefit of growing up in a financial services family where dinner time conversation often included discussions of financial planning alternatives and tax issues. His father Joe is a successful financial advisor in Boston, and his mother Susan was a pioneer in the tax and financial planning fields. With these role models, Jamie has been able to quickly grasp many complex concepts and ideas becoming wise beyond his years.

Jamie has been in the financial services industry for more than seven years. He had his first crack at it as a college agent with Northwestern Mutual, but soon realized it is not a part-time job and college should be his first priority. He went on to get his degree, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics with an emphasis on international economic markets, from the University of Denver.

After a year of work and travel in Europe, Jamie moved back to Denver to start his career at Wealth Strategies Group, LLC, an affiliate of the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. He furthered his education by achieving the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.

Two years ago he joined forces with Joe to form Stone Financial Group, with over 45 years of combined experience and offices in Denver and Boston.

Jamie enjoys the outdoor life of sunny Colorado. He is an avid skier, cyclist, adventurer, and runner, having completed both the Boston and New York Marathons.
